A debate on which conditions a rheumatologist and immunologist treats

My doctor is recommending I see an immunologist who specializes in autoimmune diseases to try and diagnose some mystery symptoms. Does anyone have recs?

Immunologist in Mexico only deal with with immunodeficiencies and allergies. The only autoimmune diseases a rheumatologist doesn’t treat are ALS, MS, hashimotos.

Yeah, I am dealing with an overreactive lymphatic system. I think that’s why he recommended an immunologist.

Well, that's not true. I've met some good immunologists who deal with all the spectrum of illnesses related to the immune system and they studied here in Mexico, whereas the rheumatologists I've met deal more with arthritis and conditions similar to that one.
